Dancin’ In My Dreams I fell asleep with the music on I had a dream it was really gone My toes were tappin’ at the foot of my bed But all that rockin’ was in my head I was dancin’ dancin’ in my dreams Dancin’ dancin’ in my dreams My baby told me it was a quarter to four She tried to hold I knocked her onto the floor I can remember swingin’ from a star I heard the cryin’ of a wild guitar I was dancin’ dancin’ in my dreams Dancin’ dancin’ in my dreams Sometimes you feel it in the middle of the night You wake up shakin’ in the full moonlight Must be the moon that’s got you rhythm bound Could be the beatin’ of your heart to a far off sound You’ll be dancin’ dancin’ in your dreams Like I was dancin’ in my dreams Sometimes you feel it in the middle of the night You wake up shakin’ in the full moonlight Must be the moon that’s got you rhythm bound Could be the beatin’ of your heart to a far off sound You’re only dancin’ dancin’ in your dreams Like I was dancin’ in my dreams I’m dancin’ in my dreams I’m dancin’ in my dreams Allons-y! about

These tracks were recorded live at The Alamo (formerly The Red Rail) in Nanuet NY in 1982. It features the original five piece Finn and the Sharks which includes the 4 current bandmembers, Jimmy Finnen on vocals and bass, Billy Roues on guitar and vocals, Steven "Muddy" Roues on harp bass and vocals, Ed "The Hammerhead" Steinberg on drums and vocals and the late Ira "Jr" Hedges on guitar and vocals. We dedicate this release to Ira's memory as his birthday and death day anniversaries were only a week ago. We miss him very much.

The music was recorded by Allen Rosenberg and the cassette recently digitized by our great friend Ken Anselmi who sent us the files a few days ago. As we listened to them we were blown away by the tempos we played some of these songs and it turned out that the files were a half step slower than real time which meant that we actually played them much faster. Our old time producer and engineer stepped in and brought these 5 songs up to real time and mastered them in time for us to release this 5 song album to our Bandcamp followers. This is the only release anywhere of this music from 42 years ago.

Additional info about the individual songs will be available when you listen to that track.

We hope you enjoy this release and we look forward to sharing more with you soon.
